Newbold-on-Stour with Armscote Plant Sale - in aid of the Church of St David

Every year, volunteers from Newbold-on-Stour with Armscote and the surrounding area hold a plant sale in aid of The Church of St David in Newbold. Substantial sums are raised from the sale of plants, home made jams and chutneys and other items including a tombola. Refreshments are served in the church. All the plants are contributed by local people. This year, Tredington and District Garden Club had a stand at the sale advertising the club. Win also made angelica which she handed out with a request that a donation be made to the Church. Further information on the event can be obtained from Gilly Marsden.
